The King of the Brazilian beat, Sergio Mendes was in Manila on March 18 for a music fiesta entitled “Sergio Mendes & Brazil 2006: A Celebration of His Timeless Hits”. Guests of Societe Generale Bank & Trust were specially invited to an exclusive cocktail reception followed by a performance at the Araneta Coliseum.

In addition to our high net-worth guests, there were also ambassadors as well as the beautiful queens of Philippines gracing the occasion. Close to 60 people were present.

Sergio Mendes, the most internationally successful Brazilian artists of all time, captivated the audience with his samba flair that conjured up images of fiestas, beaches and carnivals. The energy-charged performance of Sergio Mendes kept the audience utterly enthralled throughout.

All in all, it was a very memorable night for all who attended the event.
