In celebration of the inauguration, SG hosted a private ribbon cutting ceremony and a dinner for close to 50 guests on 2 October 2006. The special guest at the private dinner was Mr Vijay Amritraj, who among many other outstanding distinctions is the official UN Messenger of Peace, appointed by the United Nations General Secretary Kofi Annan and also India's Tennis Legend, both on the pro tour as well as the Davis Cup. The event was also graced by two celebrity beauty queens in the Philippines. |
