SG Private Banking (Asia Pacific) sponsored the Soorya Global Festival on 1st June 2008 in Singapore. As in all earlier Soorya events, this festival was a unique experience which featured a masterful choreographic blending of diverse performing art forms of India in classical music and dance. The Guest-of-Honor was His Excellency, President of Singapore, SR Nathan.

Held at Esplanade Concert Hall, the event saw performances by some of the very accomplished artistes renowned for their mastery of their own style in dance and music.

Balakrishnan Kunnambath, Managing Director & Global Market Manager – Indian Subcontinent of SG Private Banking played host to close to 100 high net-worth guests at the exclusive event.

This sponsorship furthers affirmed the Bank’s commitment to support the local Arts scene.
