As one of the privileged patrons of Unifrance, SG Private Banking (Asia Pacific) was proud to co-present the premiere screening of the French adventure animation ‘Arthur and the Minimoys’ to our high networth guests in Hong Kong, with the mission of promoting French cinema in Hong Kong. The event was graced by Consul-General of France, Mr Jean-Pierre Thebault.

The film premiere was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre in conjunction with the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market and the Hong Kong- Asia Film Financing Forum on 21 March 2007.

This event saw the appearance of the world-renowned film director Mr Luc Besson, who had invested five years producing and directing this truly entertaining adventure animation. Superstars like Madonna, David Bowie, Robert de Niro, Snoop Dogg had lent their voices to the film, making it an evening more entertaining animation. Other films directed by Mr Luc Besson include: ‘Taxi’, ‘The Fifth Element’, ‘Nikita’, ‘Joan of Arc’, ‘Leon, the Professional’ and many more.

After the screening, guests and VIPs were invited to a refreshing cocktail reception at Café Deco, the Peak, which has a panoramic, enchanting view of the dynamic city at night.
