SG Private Banking was proud to be one of the major sponsors for an international conference organised by the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI), the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), with support of the Governments of Singapore and India in Singapore.

Held from 9th – 11th October 2008 at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre Convention, this conference is modeled after the 'Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD)' event, held annually in India. This business-focused conference in Singapore, reaches out to the Indian Diaspora within the Asia-Pacific and beyond.

Singapore, being the regional hub of SG Private Banking (Asia Pacific), sees the potential of being associated with the event. Balakrishnan Kunnambath, Global Market Manager of the Indian Subcontinent took the opportunity to invite our Indian clients to attend the conference as well as the network with potential prospects. The 3-day conference was attended by close to 700 business delegates.
